Two new Satrix ETFs list on A2X<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sandton, 1 July 2026:<\/em> Satrix<\/a>, South Africa’s leading provider of index-tracking investment products, has expanded its exchange traded fund (ETF) offering on A2X<\/a> with the secondary listing of the Satrix MSCI Japan ETF (STXJPN)<\/strong> and the Satrix Stoxx Europe 600 ETF (STXEUR)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The ETFs retain their primary listings on the JSE and will be available for trade on A2X from today, 1 July 2026.<\/p>\n

The Satrix MSCI Japan ETF provides investors with exposure to large- and mid-cap companies across the Japanese equity market, while the Satrix Stoxx Europe 600 ETF focuses on leading companies across developed European markets. Together, the two ETFs provide South African investors with access to some of the world’s largest and most influential economies.<\/p>\n

Yusuf Wadee, Head of Exchange Traded Products at Satrix, said, “At Satrix, we are committed to providing cost-effective and accessible investment solutions that enable portfolio diversification across global markets. The addition of the Satrix MSCI Japan ETF and Satrix Stoxx Europe 600 ETF on A2X further enhances investor access to these important international markets while allowing investors to benefit from the competitive trading environment offered by A2X.”<\/p>\n

Kevin Brady, CEO of A2X Markets, added, “Satrix continues to lead innovation in South Africa’s ETF market, providing investors with access to a broad range of local and global investment opportunities. The addition of Japan and European market exposure strengthens the range of international investment products already available on A2X.”<\/p>\n

These listings increase the number of Satrix ETFs available for trade on A2X to 31<\/strong>. Satrix first listed 29 ETFs on A2X in 2023 and has continued to expand its presence on the exchange, reflecting growing investor demand for diversified, low-cost investment solutions.<\/p>\n

A2X is a licensed stock exchange that provides a secondary listing venue for companies and exchange traded products. It is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority and the Prudential Authority in terms of the Financial Markets Act. A2X aims to foster competition in South Africa’s capital markets by providing an alternative trading venue with lower exchange fees and additional sources of liquidity.<\/p>\n
